The owners of JBC Contractors collectively bring over 80 years of industry expertise, having progressed from field roles to management positions while remaining actively engaged on job sites. The company’s project managers and highly skilled field teams contribute an additional 50 years of combined experience. JBC is committed to providing professional service and consistently upholding the highest standards of workmanship.

Josh Carter, President
Josh graduated from Harris County High School in 1995 and began his career in construction. In 1999, he established Carter Construction, which later became JBC Contractors in 2006, with a primary focus on concrete and grading services.
Throughout his career, Josh has contributed to numerous commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects, actively participating in all facets of JBC’s daily operations. He has successfully managed many shutdown projects with strict deadlines, consistently ensuring manufacturing processes resumed as scheduled.
Josh’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, coupled with his continuous pursuit of professional growth, has enabled him to navigate various economic challenges over more than two decades. He adheres to the philosophy that overcoming mental obstacles paves the way for success: “If you can conquer it in your mind, it is all downhill from there.”

Chad Bishop, Vice President, Concrete Division
Born and raised in Manchester, Georgia, Chad became a member of JBC Contractors in 2011. He possesses ACI Certification and has accumulated 25 years of expertise in concrete construction, positioning himself as a respected leader within the industry. In his role as Vice President of the Concrete Division, Chad supervises key personnel and manages construction schedules to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of all JBC projects across the Southeast. He is engaged in every phase of the operation, including selection, bidding, contract negotiation, and on-site supervision.
Known for his sharp wit and friendly attitude both at the office and on job sites, Chad builds strong relationships and creates an environment that encourages teamwork.

Scott Fowler, Vice President, Site Work Division
Scott began his career in the construction industry at the age of 18 while pursuing his college education. After obtaining his degree, he systematically advanced through roles including heavy equipment operator, estimator, and project manager, ultimately serving as Corporate Vice President of the Site Work Division at JBC Contractors.
A long-standing member of the local community, Scott joined JBC Contractors in 2018, contributing over 24 years of extensive industry experience and expertise. He oversees all aspects of site work, grading operations, estimating, scheduling, and quality assurance. Scott is committed to achieving customer satisfaction and ensuring the successful delivery of every project.

Chris Koon, Project Estimator
Chris, a local resident, began his career in the construction industry in 1997 and has been a committed employee of JBC Contractors since its inception. Over more than two decades, he has advanced within the company, taking on multiple roles that have enabled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of both employee and customer perspectives. With significant field experience, Chris now serves as Project Estimator and is actively involved in all aspects of the business. His calm demeanor fosters positive interactions with colleagues and clients alike.
